We are planning to introduce a crowd sourcing approach to our research and development activity. An increasing number of projects are now operating in this way, able to take advantage of a decentralised and distributed approach to collaboration. A particular advantage is the ability to draw on diverse expertise, which thanks to the internet, can be done on an unprecedented global scale.
