We have identified a number of derelict or at risk sites along the Clyde as having potential for preservation and/or innovative new uses. We will add to this list as our research progresses. If you are interested in partnering with CDPI on projects for restoration of any of these assets please contact us.
The former Esso oil terminal site at Bowling has been earmarked for development as an industrial estate / business park by West Dunbartonshire Council.
CDPI welcomes WDC's proposed development of the site and it will offer huge benefits for the local economy.
Our interest in the site is in preservation of the remaining pier and pipeline structures along the shore as a feature of the development and potentially seeking listed status for these.
